The National Indigenous Affordable Housing Corp. is a socially responsible organization deeply connected in respect for Indigenous culture, helping deliver affordable housing opportunities by partnering with federal, regional and local affiliates.

Indigenous and minority families and communities rely on NIAHC across Canada to help create affordable new homeownership opportunities and other housing solutions. While a lack of new affordable housing is an issue in Canada that impacts many cities, the issue is disproportionately severe when it comes to First Nations communities and families.

NIAHC is dedicated to making a difference. We are driven by our belief that we can provide new affordable housing solutions across Canada, and we focus on community partnership and First Nation priorities. No one agency or program can end the housing affordability crisis, and so we work many government and community partners to plan and operate as a cohesive system.

To date we have made great progress, but there is still a long way to go to reach our goal. We know that as a community we need to stay committed, continue to improve housing affordability, and ensure the resources are in place when it comes to accessibility to affordable new quality housing.
